Impact analysis and simulations

The impact team is operating since 1992. Over the years we had the privilege of solving many design problems .

Accurate Impact analysis and prediction is important part of designing systems working in high-G conditions like missile onboard electronics, and a PDA dropped carelessly on a concrete floor.
Impact analysis comes handy in improving flawed designs via post-mortem analysis of broken systems.
We use mainstream COSMOSWorks machines, and our own home-brew toolbox of computer programs and predictive methods,
Our proprietary Nodal Analysis System, forged by years of physical modeling and testing, is our most powerful predictive analysis tool for impact and high-energy scenarios.
The Nodal Analysis System enables us to predict failure points of any given system within a variety of scenarios, swiftly and efficiently compared to other computer aided programs. The most important feature of the Nodal Analysis System is it's predictive accuracy: we have already tested it in dozens of cases without a single failure.
Another powerful feature of our system is the ability to make accurate predictions even in preliminary design stages, without need for detailed design and to get instant results for a multitude of design variations.

    Thermal Design

     The thermal design unit, now operating within the TransCelio team, provides engineering solutions spanning various fields:

The performance of electronic equipment greatly depends on its operating temperature. 4ID specializes in thermal design of electronic equipment, so that electronic components remain at low operating temperatures. 4ID has vast knowledge, experience and a variety of thermal analysis tools for thermal packaging and electronic equipment design, be it card racks for Lucent or designing micro electronic systems for the Israel Defense Forces. We are armed with the best analysis tools, ranging from heavy CFD programs, hugh data bases and mainstream COSMOS machines.Dr. Moshe Tshuva leads the thermal design team.

    Thermal Lab servicesThe thermal lab unit, now operating within the TransCelio team, provides state of the art thermal imaging and real-time radiometry services.We are equipped with imagers covering the spectrum range of UV radiation through visible, Near IR, Mid wave IR to the LWIR band. We take pride of our own design optical devices covering a broad range of applications, enabling us to get the best imaging and analysis results for our clients.We back our systems with a variety of software image analysis tools, bought and tailor made, as well as sophisticated hardware and peripherals, all aimed for a comprehensive experimental service.We have two mobile labs - for field trips, customer-side experiments, and special scenarios.
